clutch/lionize/torche play Philly on 12/30, and 12/31 is "TBA" - is this our NYE show?

Hey Seth - Patti Smith is playing shows to celebrate the 40th anniversary of "Horses." That would be a swell show to see.

New album is pretty good from what I've heard of it. Streaming on NPR.

All of his albums have been great since he went back to making secular tunes.
Also +1.
Yusef is one of the last artists on my bucket list…

Was just looking over my past concert schedule and can't believe it has been over 15 years since we got to see The Prodigy at the club. So like hey Seth, with all of your powers talk the guys into coming back to DC again!
Not true, RB.

2009 was only five years ago (I was at this show, and the one before it in 2006 at Nation), and their set is still one of my favorites.
I did see a hint of new music… A club return would be awesome.
I would pay a bit of money to see Yusuf, no matter what someone wrote in a book.

There is such a thing as a public record. It is pretty well known.
Remember 10,000 Maniacs? The album In My Tribe originally contained a cover of Cat Stevens' "Peace Train"…. subsequently Cat/Yusuf spoke such hatred they took it off the record…

Must be my old-timers disease kicking in. I thought that is was way back when that I came up to the club to see them. I don't at all recall them playing nation, but then again that club was such a total shit hole I would never have gone back after seeing just the one show there that I did see. That aside, having The Prodigy back at the club would be great!
