Is Hum actually doing a tour outside of Chicago? That would be incredible.
They seem to be sticking to the Midwest. They played St. Louis last weekend. Chicago this weekend. Will be in Champaign the second weekend in June.
Reports from the St. Louis show were that they were a lot tighter than they were for the one-off new years shows last year as if they'd been practicing together a lot in anticipation for more shows. But that's all speculation and this is probably the only shows they're doing.
However, if anyone can coax them out of the midwest I'd imagine Seth can.

Thanks Seth for the invite for the 30th Anniversary show! means a lot to me actually as I've been going to the 930 since about 1994 and love the place.. since I live pretty close by I always think of the place as part of my neighborhood and community
Its pretty unique what you're doing with this 30th and very much appreciated!

I dunno if the Club is actually big enough for them (they're playing Carnegie Hall) but it looks like the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain is doing a
North American tour in November. I'd love to see them in the cozy confines of the 9:30!
Here's the contact page with booking contact at the top.

in case i'm catching you in a generous mood (again) - any chance of an arcade fire/spoon presale?

Going to chime in again for Gary Numan again, he has said to be doing The Pleasure Principle live in the US around September.

Carrie Underwood please. She's playing Baltimore 11/16 and it looks like she doesn't have another show until the 29th.
And thanks for the 30th anniversary tix. I never win anything.

yeah its the same show. its about $104 with service charges for 2 tix. but if anyone lives here, you can buy them at nokia box office (starting tomorrow) free of service charges. $37.50 for both those bands is pretty sweet!

any word if polyphonic spree still even exists as a touring band here in the u.s. and not in weird, i could not point them out on a map, countries, and if so, seeing how you are a magician of music and seeing how i follow your yellow brick movements . . . could you arrange them to play with say, a reunited the amps as openers? god, that was asking too much wasn't it.
