Yeah I was really bummed about missing that. I heard Ulrich Schnauss put on a great set too.

their last black cat show ('05?) was pretty full … really incredible stuff, one of my favorite shows of the last couple of years

I second that but while they've expanded the number of quick cash grab "reunion" shows they're doing (and I'm saying that in a loving way haha) they still haven't played out beyond TX/AR/LA since they all have other full-time endeavors now.

Okay, I NEVER post in this thread, but LEONARD COHEN! He's touring the States in May according to Pitchfork. It'd be killer to see him at the club for a couple of nights rather than a place like DAR, but any which way, I WANT TO SEE LEONARD COHEN!

I will stop freaking out now.

Gui Boratto is playing a live set in Philly on 4/8. How's about a dc show?

Edit: Squeezing him in as another opener for Hot Chip would make for a perfect bill.
