This isn't a conventional request so much as a question for the room: if Blur were to tour the U.S. this summer or early fall, which venue would suit them best at this point in everyone's opinion? Just in regard to the type of crowd they would draw. The club? Merriweather? Warner Theatre?
Hey Seth

It's not worth the ticket price just to see them Gary Clark Jr and Kendrick Lamar. My only gripe. But if that's what it comes to…

oh ok… lets get them to come to DC again and play DeathFromAbove's bedroom..that way he won't gripe no more..
suck it up bro.
Hey Seth…I know they've never really done a US Tour but I'd love to see Alphabeat at the club one night. They cancelled their opening slot on Katy Perry a few years ago to do a US Tour which never panned out.
There's a ton of euro pop acts like them that have big followings in DC.
Edit: I see that Panic! at the Disco got added to the Fall Out Boy show on 9/10. Any chance they can get a club headline show on the 9th?

40 songs over 3 and a half hours last night in Buenos Aires…
Seconded. Would be a great MPP show.
the show at the patriot center about 5 years ago was one for the record books. 3.5 hours as well and a stunning set. not to mention the people watching was fantastic.

already announced. 8/11
haha i came back to here to say I just saw that on FB - thank you for the update. Btw, was it announced in the thread or by the club? Just curious as I want to be more aware when I'm flipping through email/forum. ;P
i saw the national announce a jimmy eat world date this morning then saw the rest of the tour, including 930, on JEW's website. nothing official from the club yet. probably this week's email thing though
Savages.
Yes please. For anybody who has not heard the album yet, http://silenceyourself.savagesband.com
