OK then it looks like 2 Lou Reed shows in a short span. Thanks Seth. (Now I am patiently awaiting an announcement of a Stray Cats show. That would be the show that would simply be the show of the decade.)

If it isnt self evident at this point, there is probably precious little that anyone can do to show them the error of their ways.

If I plan, and successfully execute, a rally outside Silver Spring City Hall, do I get free tickets?
If you dance with Silver Spring, Silver Spring don't change. Silver Spring changes you.
Hey Seth cant wait for iron maiden to get announced but im dying for this tour to come here… maybe u cud book it July 9th or early july?

At The Gates, Darkest Hour, Municipal Waste

DH and MW have a strong local following being that their both from va. And At The Gates is a very influential band and havent toured for like 10 years and it would pretty much gurantee sell out (As long as there are 1,300 real metalheads in this area). This would be a great make up for the cancelled darkest hour show.

This is fantastic news about Lou Reed at the club. If anyone is concerned about what seeing him these days is like, don't be. I saw him last year when he was performing the entire Berlin record and he was amazing. Very emotive with his voice and playing tons of guitar, also very buffed.

How about booking Mark Kozelek/Sun Kil Moon at the club in June? He's playing Philly, NY, and has some open dates.

Koz hasn't played DC or NOVA since 2001's Old Ramon tour. The time has come!
id love to see this ass well. would much rather see him at a venue like iota or the black cat though.
WOAH-Kozelek is actually doing Ottobar June 18th!
