I see a DAR show for this if it happens.
it would work quite well at the club, IMO.  not sure this has the draw to sell 3,700 tickets in DC… easily 1,200, tho.
To go from Webster to DAR or vice-versa would make absolutely no sense. Sounds more like a club show to me, too.

Ben solo was at the club (couple years ago, it looked pretty full from the way back…Even if they don't sell out the club - I doubt they would sell out DAR, especially on their first go. Club show preferred here too.
I haven't heard their music yet - anyone have link? I understand if you order the dvd you receive a MP3.
I didn't have time to research dates b/w club, Gibbard and Farrar, but if not around those few scheduled dates, perhaps near or a few weeks out?
Gibbard played two shows in the same night, and sold out both.

Those people were paying to see Ben do DCFC songs though right? Not songs from some side project with a washed up alt-country singer.

I don't disagree.
Yes, DCFC songs but also All-Time Quarterback. Obviously, he played more of DCFC.

He played nothing off the All-Time Quarterback CD at either concert.

Jay Farrar is far from a "washed up alt-country singer". His Son Volt show at the club on Tues did quite nicely and he's got a great band together. The man can write a song, whether you appreciate his style or not.

maybe she meant postal service?  he did play several PS songs.
Yeah, my memory was probably confused b/c he sold A-TQ cds.
Could we just get the Postal Service instead?

Seth, Bernard Sumner of New Order has a new band and they are touring the US around Nov/Dec. Any chance we can see these dudes at 930 club?

+1!
Hmmm Joe Perry has a few dates scheduled.  DC would be great!
Dear Mr. Hurwitz,

Will you please put Jesus Lizard tickets onsale soon?  I will feel much better when I can actually hold my ticket in my hands and cuddle with it at night.

Thanks!
