wow . . . you beat me by 2 hours.  just saw about their show last night in texas.  the new shirts and posters look awesome.  yes seth, you get polyphonic back.  two nights.  and it must be crazy and loud and jumping all aound with balloons and streamers. 

and you must get something by founders on draft.  yeah.

How about getting Fitz and the Tantrums to play the club?
They will be local in August for the Silopanna Music Fest.
They would kill it in the club.

Once its Manchester run ends, Albarn is travelling to Congo, to play his part in a project in which DJs and producers will record and sample Congolese music, and aim to complete a record in not much more than a week. Blur, he says, may reunite again, to play their old songs in the US, though when I ask him about the possibility of new Blur songs, I get a mumbled "don't know". There is also final work to be done on a largely instrumental album made by Albarn, Allen and the Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Michael "Flea" Balzary.

Second or third time request..

I told ya about Andres Calamaro.. he'd do very well in DC and it would be nice to see some attention paid to the Latin Rock market by IMP….. first dates in the US have been anounced including Irving Plaza.. seems like a few Live Nation promoted dates in October..

bring him to DC!

Adele has rescheduled her cancelled dates for October and added new ones as well. Any chance of another club date., please? DAR even?

On another British songstress note: a show by Florence + the Machine, either at the Club or DAR, in the near future would be great.  Doing shows all over the place this summer–Boston, New York, Orlando, St. Louis–but no D.C.

I still regret having to miss seeing her open for the Temper Trap at the Club early last year.  :(

Have to agree with this!

They use to only creep around here at night. Now they pollute the place all day.

I don't surf while working but someone here is about to get fired not realizing some scumbag has invaded a normal thread or some other not obvious trick.

I know you have to keep this forum as open as possible for business but this filth isn't helping you either.
