Hey Seth

Any chance of getting Phoenix to actually play the club in 2010 to make up for September?

You'd have better luck asking Snailhook about this one.

Hey Seth, this request may be a bit of a stretch, but it can't hurt to ask.

Four Tet is touring North America in February. he are some of the dates:

2-12  The Dome  London, UK
2-17  Le Poison Rouge  New York, NY
2-18  Middle East Downstairs  Cambridge, MA
2-19  Empty Bottle  Chicago, IL

any chance of maybe bringing him to the club After the London show and before the New York show?

needless to say (but i will anyways), there is huge support for this request.  they sold out the club once, they'll sell it out again.
Hey Seth, some people on the coachella board emailed Orbital's rep recently, and this was their response:

"Any gigs set up depend on promotors in the country to bring Orbital over here. Give them a nudge in America! Without the promotors…there will be no gigs  :) fingers crossed."

So uh, Seth, *nudge*.

You should lead the charge and bring Orbital to the 9:30.

I just saw the coolest band called And The Wiremen at a local venue. Incredible downtempo-jazz. Would love to see them at the Club. Even if they're still too small to play there, hopefully this post will get someone to google them and see what a really awesome band can do. Great night.

Hi, I book And The Wiremen.  We are actually looking at dates in the DC area currently for Feb/March.  We've got some bigger NYC shows in the works including the new Brooklyn Knitting Factory.  I would like to talk with the 9:30.  I can be contacted at lynn@lynnfarrell.com.

I think you'd have better luck at Velvet Lounge or Black Cat, sadly.

New stand at MPP?
Hey Seth,

DC's own Amerie just put out a KILLER album last month and is about to support Rihanna on her upcoming UK tour. Can we get her to play at the club, PLEEEEEEASE!?! She played in 2007 as a "surprise" act during Pride Week. It would be AMAZING.

xx
Hey Seth,
Not sure why the Anvil show was canceled at Sonar in February (cancel was per the band / club? date conflict? I didn't research.). The other canceled Feb. show in NYC is rescheduled to March. Maybe 930 or RHL in Feb/Mar according to their schedule?
