hey seth

Just wanted to say thank you for bringing good shows to Rams Head Live.

i was so sick of local metal bands, kix and cover bands….

  NO!

I need a FEW shows here in Baltimore.  I didnt realize how spoiled I was younger, living in Toronto.  You thought DC got a lot of shows…..no tour forgets to stop in Toronto.

Hey Seth

Any way you can work with tickets.com on their ridiculous and totally outrageous fees?  For instance, if I wanted to buy a TVOTR ticket, I'd have to pay a 40% markup in fees - $10 on a $25 ticket.  That is insane.  Esp since they charge $4 even if you pick up tickets at will call and don't have them mailed.  Can't you work out a deal like the Black Cat did with TM where there's a certain reasonable low flat fee?  the fees are killing me!

Thanks
Seth,

Are My Bloody Valentine going to be booked at the 930? :)  I just keep dreaming about it…

Thanks!
Hey Seth,

Can you get me a raise at my job?
what do you do?
Hey Seth,

Which of your venues are you going to have Wilco play?

And can you please avoid June 27-July 5? I'll be on vacation.

Thanks
Thanks Seth for Bajofondo, that's really quality stuff…
This is the band of Gustavo Santaolalla, who won best score for Babel. Bajofondo started like a mix between tango and electronica, but now is a lot more than that…
hey seth,
can you end this economic crisis? thanks!

Yeah Yeah Yeahs  ;D
Hey Seth,

sonick, ol'buddy, a piece of advice: if your boss needs to ask you what you do, you're probably not very high on the need-to-give-a-raise-to list :P

Seth, just curious (may be more of a faq question) – the past couple of months there have been repeated sold out shows at the club. What is the record of sold out shows (days in a row)?

you know, I think it's bad luck to talk about past successes

gets your head in the wrong place

but thanks for asking
How about Yeasayer, Placebo, or Prodigy?
Is it just me or does it seem like these days bands either end up doing huge festivals or they headline club gigs alone? Once upon a time, you'd have bigger bills of like 3 or 4 bands touring together. I guess maybe economically they all want a bigger slice of the pie…but I remember the days of Aphex Twin, the Orbital, Moby and Ultramarine touring together, or the time My Bloody Valentine, Blur, Dinosaur Jr. and the Jesus and Mary Chain toured in the UK. I can't fathom the buzz a tour like that would cause nowadays.
Awesome job at that judiciary subcommittee hearing last week.

Edit: those who missed it live can watch it here.

Too bad they dont do that tour again.  Wow that would have been sick.
Well MPP isn't a club per se, but it appears Seth has heard you and listened.

Classic rock fans will have an opportunity to tap into a recession-relieving concert with the 2009 Can't Stop Rockin' tour, featuring REO Speedwagon, Styx and 38 Special. Ticket prices will be available for as low as $13.50 in most markets.

Presented by VH! Classic and Rock Band, the tour begins May 13 in Albuquerque, N.M. In acknowledgement of the tour, Styx and REO Speedwagon teamed up to record a new single, ?Can?t Stop Rockin?,? co-written by REO Speedwagon?s Kevin Cronin and Styx?s Tommy Shaw. ?Can?t Stop Rockin?? makes its radio debut in March and will be available for download.

Can we get George Thorogood and the Destroyers at the club? Pleeease?
The Gories and The Oblivians have both reunited and are doing dates in Detroit, Memphis and Europe this summer, I think there are about 30 people who know who these bands are this area.
