I think they're going to be disappointed when they find he was at fault if not (criminally) negligent. I think Buzzfeed was intentionally nondescript in their obit.
Single car crash at 4:25am is usually speeding, drunk or fell asleep.

Definitely read the phrase "high speed car crash" somewhere.
Slim Whitman. So young, another tough loss.
I always liked his name and enjoyed reading his articles when you could still access the Rolling Stone Archives for free. . .

bummer… what was his last area show? I think he cancelled the Birchmere one for health reasons (which was a modest $25) but did play the Hamilton I guess last year?

this one was a tear jerker for me. i have loved this guy, their show, their contributions to the world of video games for a long time. not some punk kid, not some nerd who you could not relate to, but an awesome guy who made adults feel great about being obsessed with the art of the video game. he will be missed by a lot of people and fans. he was the best. god . . . i can't believe i am getting this emotional about somebody i have never met.

clyde, my 92 year old neighbor.
there is zero chance that i'll be as active as he was, at 92. he was clearly a child of the great depression. on weekends he would go to flea markets and do things like buy broken lawn mowers for $10, fix them up (he had an amazing tool collection) and sell them for $25. he made his own cigarettes and planted a big ol' garden. when he heard how much i was going to spend on a new rain-barrel, he told me not to - and built one for me. he was driving as of a month ago. he was a proud WW2 vet, his car was covered with "remember pearl harbor"-type stickers.
gonna miss having him in the 'hood.

Heroin, alcohol.
^Last member of the White House press corps to have any balls (for lack of a better term). T-Model Ford news was a drag too. That Velvet show was a good one. Sweetcell's neighbor sounds swell too.
