It’s funny because when that meme was running around on Twitter about what famous person you had met I was reminded about how I had met William English’s partner Douglas Englebart once at Smithsonian where that original mouse was on exhibit

When I first heard of the politician Kamala Harris, I called her Kamala the Ugandan Giant, not knowing the real Kamala shared the same last name.

I've since learned that "Kamala" is Sanskrit for "lotus flower." Does it have any meaning in Swahili?

RIP Kamala, one of the legends of my youth. May they new Kamala be a winner like you were.
