If you saw a white outreach van driving around DC distributing clean needles and condoms, chances are it was Maurice Abbey-Bey, or “Jesus of the streets” as some people knew him.
Abbey-Bey died on April 5 after a battle with leukemia. https://t.co/mJrFuU17xH https://t.co/MYEN0NR3Zp

The Humpty Dance is a stone cold classic jam!!!!
I once saw a version of the Bay City Rollers live at a club in Albany, NY in the early 90's. It featured Woody, his younger girlfriend, and some other random musicians.
It also featured a shouting match and some tossed beer and some threats of physical violence between the girlfriend and some other young women in the crowd.
Ah, good times.

Jeebus. At least you weren't hit in the head with a bottle!
Here is a hour long doc on the Bay City Rollers narrated by Clare Grogan (Alerted Images) which apparently touches on how the band sold 120 million records and saw very little of that money due the contracts they signed.

Wikipedia lays it out a little, but after a decade long lawsuit they each ended up with about 70K in pounds
