Yeah should have said Scott Walker formerly of The Walker Brothers and beloved by many British Musicians for his 70s solo albums

I’m hoping Dave and Roger we’re back on good terms again… I’ll never forget when that seemingly positive The Beat reunion occurred on the MTV show Bands Reunited show, how right after it aired they were publicly sniping at each other again  via if I recall on the shows website.

Anyways,  those 80s Beats albums still stand up so very well, and General Public had some great singles.  Guess I should check the last album Roger recorded as the The Beat, hopefully it’s better than a solo album I heard of his..

He was 53. In a strange coincidence, fellow Seattle luminaries Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) and Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) died on the same date in 1994 and 2002, respectively.
