In the early days of Thievery the show would begin with the slower down tempo then the reggae boyz took over …I would be like WTF is this? When did Thievery turn into a Jamaican dancehall act?
Of course as I got older and learned more I realized even the down tempo was Jamaican…just more a different slant of Jamaican..dub

that transition from dubby intro to two rastas ripping the roof off the place was one of my favorite parts of a TC show. they got the whole room jumping. talk about getting the party started. RIP.
