i'm more partial to the communist-leader-in-sunglasses look:

Kim Jong Il

… but only half as much.
Of course, this guy 'thinks' he's one.

^ That' what I'm afraid of.  ::)
i know somebody that had a dream that china teamed up with russia and invaded our country with troops like in red dawn, the original, not the remake.  they teamed with groups of americans who were in league with them because they hated the american government.  like in john carpenter's they live, when some of the humans helped the aliens because they were made all rich and stuff.  isn't that weird.

All empires fall…it's just America's turn. Should've learned from the mistakes of Rome and England and not been such a bully and minded your own fucking business….

No biggie!

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo  :(
Plan 9 bankruptcy is no huge shock. They've made it pretty well known that they're looking for a smaller/cheaper space when their current lease ends. Carytown's got to be an expensive area, and their store is huge, so I don't blame them.

Looks like they're not dead yet, but it's not looking too great. Pretty good shop. Not my favorite by any means (CD Cellar all the way) but still a good source for music.

I guess he really didn't follow her into the dark, did he?

First the king and queen of over-rated, "Influence is King" noise rock divorce and now the king and queen of Gen-X "Let's wear stupid, dorky glasses and pretend we're in sixth grade forever" culture are splitting up.  It's been a bad year for people who watch a lot of TV and have divorced parents.

However, Jann Werner divorcing Bruce Springsteen is the canary in the coal mine, folks.  Once that happens, get the hell out.  It's just a matter of time, though.  They haven't been intimate since "Tunnel of Love."

What a bummer … Brian has found my 'Shrooms stash. In hindsight my sock drawer probably wasn't the best spot.
