In 1973, he portrayed Wes Callison, News Writer, on the season four episode, "Son of 'But Seriously, Folks'" on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He also had roles in The Amazing Cosmic Awareness of Duffy Moon (1976) and 13 Queens Boulevard (1979). In 1988, he made a guest appearance on Scott Baio's sitcom Charles in Charge as Jamie Powell's health teacher, Mr. Merkin.
On top of all his other accomplishments, John Young, who just passed away at age 87, was the first astronaut officially reprimanded by NASA because of actions during a space flight.

I have heard that Harry "Jack" Reynolds of early 70's bands Silver Metre and Ashman Reynolds has passed away.
Silver Metre were a one shot band that also had Leigh Stevens of Blue Cheer fame and Pete Sears later of Jefferson Starship and Hot Tuna in their ranks. They released one lone album in 1970 and must have been big fans of Elton John as they covered two of his songs on there. Its cool if you are into hard rock of the period and I think they were quite underrated. R.I.P.

Ouch. The Maryland doom scene is taking heavy losses in the last few months. I know he had been ill with his worsening diabetes. Last time I saw Iron Man he was playing while sitting down and had to be helped up. Even with all that its still unexpected and sucky to hear this news. R.I.P. Al.
Oh man. The original Motorhead trio is all gone. That is a huge bummer! R.I.P. Fast Eddie!
