Dropping Like Flies

Odd word choice from his dad.
Hmmm, he went to my elementary school.

Wonder if he was playing Medal of Honor, Call of Duty or something similar?

A terrorist attack? Obama got shot? Tornado warning? Must be something major if they're interrupting the Charlie Brown Valentine special.

Nope, just Whitney Houston, dropping like a fly.
no matter what you think about her or her music.

we just lost a big one there.
On Friday, I saw some news site (Yahoo, maybe?) post a story and photo of Whitney looking and being a mess leaving some club. Didn't seem to be one of those Fashionista things either but more what would be an appropriate Celebrity Crime & Scandal Blog entry. Wasn't all that interested so never clicked on the link for the story.

The next day, she's dead.

Wasn't in the least surprised as it's not like she was some long shot in the betting pool of up coming celebrity deaths. A real shame, nonetheless.

Whitney was a perfect example of just because one has been blessed with all the right gifts and those around her to support and prop her up along the Golden Road of Life doesn't necessarily mean that it's an easy road to travel.

Nerdcore rapper MC Gigahertz. http://www.facebook.com/mcgigahertz

I know he isnt famous, but im pretty upset.  He has been an internet friend of mine for about 6 or 7 years now… I even designed him a MC Gigahertz logo for a T shirt (which he never got to use) featuring robot Tesla…

that is a shame.  i loved the monkees growing up and loved their show and loved their songs.  no joke.  it was just one of many television obsessions i had as a kid.  i was really hoping that all four of them could have gotten together and done something, anything . . . and now the "white out kid" will have to forever live with himself that he was the lone ass that refused to make that happen.
Though I probably won't say the same thing when i'm 64, a heart attack at 66 seems like a pretty good way to go.
I wish I had this on my tombstone :(
