Vivian Trimble (Luscious Jackson)

She kind of bitched me out from the stage at the old 930. They -can’t remember which member- said they had played Richmond the night before. I yelled “Richmond sucks” as I am wont to do. Vivian was not amused and made me feel pretty small.

Not proud.
Bummer…. always loved that band. Naked Eye still is played late night at my house quite often.

I wish I could remember what she said to you …but I remember being like: DAYUM that was a smack down of the first order
I saw Luscious Jackson on a bill with The Josephine Wiggs Experience and Buffalo Daughter.  Remember being completely blown away by Buffalo Daughter that night.  Was surprised to see they are still an active group and recently toured the US, the closest show of course in Philly…  Grand Royal Records had a hell of a run in the 90s

I forgot about this
Due to mounting debts, Grand Royal closed down on August 31, 2001, and formally declared bankruptcy in July 2002.[5][6][7] Its assets were sold off via auction on Bid4Assets;
