bummer about Bill from Olivia Tremor Control… just found out



Gore Vidal was the last of a generation.. we won't see his kind again.  I'm going to peruse (its like 1000 pages) his Essays book I have in the basement.. maybe I'll listen to the first OTC album while I do so for maximum observance.

A REAL American Idol.  I clearly remember watching this unfold. And unlike the nut jobs who have nothing better to do then to create their own 15 minutes, I fully believe that we did send this guy (and 11 others) to walk on the moon.  The courage it took to step out of the LEM onto the surface of the moon was great.  Rest well sir.  You certainly earned it.
