Bags?

What happened to her?
Why do you need to know what happened to Bags?
The College Park RTX house.
What is that?
Record and Tape Exchange. They opened in the mid 70s and had a few locations. The last one (under different ownership) is in Fairfax.
I did not know they had one in College Park..I know there is a CD depot there

I think it opened in 1977 in a small white house on RT 1, then moved to a nearby strip mall in the early 90s. I'm not sure when it closed but it's been at least 10 years. They also had locations in Annapolis and Bowie (where they sold "special import" LPs, aka bootlegs).
So you are not saying the RTX but the house..i getcha..you sure you are not getting it confused with cd game exchange?  They used to have one in college park too…on route 1

Game Exchange moved out years ago. It was only in CP a few years, never attaining much status. OTOH, College Park RTX was at least semi-legendary. After they moved out, the house hosted a skateboard shop, then Atomic Music, and lastly a  cleaners and tux rental shop.
Cool..you sure know your College Park…are there any record stores left there other than CD Depot which I have given up on..it is just too much of a mess and there is way too much moldy and beat to hell vinyl there

The Depot is all that remains (not counting Best Buy), unless there's some secret store I don't know about. I miss RTX, and the UMD Record Co-op in the student union.

I've also stopped going to CDepot. The owner caught the vinyl bug several years ago, and the worst form of the disease that makes you think anything vinyl is gold. So much garbage. Unnavigable with all those damn boxes.
Pictures from malcolm's funeral made me sad…glad brian was there….phil too

Dont f with us dude. Vin Scully, Billy Graham, Norman Lear, and Betty White are going to live forever. Not necessarily in that order of preference.
