And not JoAnne Worley either.
Gawker

I am not a gawker fan (although I do check Deadspin regularly) but this is a really scary prospect where a rich person can basically throw his money at inane lawsuits and shut down a media organization he has a vendetta against.
Thank god for that.

social media is so strange… from his cousin on FB.

Dear Loved Ones planning on attending Jim's services - Please understand that Jim's dad has severe allergies to anything scented - perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, etc. They constrict his airways and he cannot breathe. We ask that you kindly not wear any perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, or anything scented. We look forward to seeing you as we celebrate the life of my beautiful cousin
You follow Jim Woolery's cousin on FB?

Interesting.

I think the punishments were harsh, but I didn't think the case was without merit.

While I find celebrity sex tapes (especially of Hulk Hogan) distasteful, I fully support some trash rag publishing them because they are "news." I find the idea of bankrupting a media entity because they show unflattering footage of a reality TV star really gross and think it opens a Pandora's box.

I'm not bemoaning the loss of Gawker (a trash rag that disgustingly outs homosexuals and lowers the level of public discourse), but we've just basically seen a court-validated approach for the next Peter Thiel to go after (insert publication here) because of their political/editorial view.
Is 62 his age or number of chins?
I hope they raped him a lot in jail…. talk about a scuzzbucket… looks like one too. Kind of reminds me of the Big Lebowski…

He was Art Garfunkel's first cousin….

Toots Thielemans
Gawker.  Sad.  I, liked it.

Toots Thielemans

Toots Thielemans was a Belgian jazz musician. He was known for his guitar and harmonica playing, as well as his whistling skills.  A jazz standard by Toots Thielemans is "Bluesette," where he used whistling and guitar in unison. First recorded by him in 1962, with lyrics added by Norman Gimbel, the song became a major worldwide hit.

He performed on many film soundtracks, such as Midnight Cowboy and in various television programs, including Sesame Street, whose closing credits (which did not list him accordingly) featured his performance on harmonica of the show's theme.

in 2001, Thielemans was ennobled a baron by King Albert II of Belgium. In 2005 he was nominated for the title of the Greatest Belgian. In the Flemish version he finished in 20th place, and in the Walloon version he came 44th. In 2009, he became an NEA Jazz Master, the highest honour for a jazz musician in the United States.

Thielemans announced his retirement on 12 March 2014, cancelling all scheduled concerts. He died in his sleep on 22 August 2016, at the age of 94.
I have a great Toots record on Riverside….I think its called The man with the harmonica…. Drew on piano..
