Haven't seen anything on here, so I'll share the sad news that Holly LeMay (who used to work the 9:30 box office) passed away.
Holly really was one of those people who always made me feel appreciated when I walked up to the box office window. I remember a handful of times I'd show up at the old club and she'd just slide a ticket my way. Not sure how she knew I was broke, but somehow that always meant the world to me because I badly wanted to see as many shows as I could. It warmed my heart that she managed to catch the attention of one of her biggest loves, Nick Cave. Years ago when I met him, I had him sign a setlist for her and he was wondering why he hadn't seen her that evening (she wasn't well enough to come that night). He knew she was one of his biggest fans. It makes me sad that she's gone, but I really do hope she's at peace now. She was good people, and a huge part of some really fond memories I have of the 9:30.

I been listening to Powertrip a lot but apparently Cronin was in Monster Magnet only a short time (89-90).

he actually died in 2022,which was recently discovery by a 15-year-old Australian doo-wop historian, which then prompted the NYT to write his obit this year.
Dave ‘Baby’ Cortez, Hitmaker Who Seemed to Vanish, Is Dead at 83
His “The Happy Organ” reached No. 1 in 1959, but his pop stardom was short-lived, and his death in 2022, with an anonymous burial, remains a source of mystery.
The Happy Organ was the first instrumental Billboard #1 on the Hot 100
