No Keith Richards or Gene Simmons?  What the hell kind of list is that….
Well, they do meet the criteria of "Aging Musicians".  Maybe they're just not "Still With Us"

How about Richard Simmons?
Huh.  Roger Waters but no David Gilmour.

Mic Gillette, founding trumpet/trombone member of Tower of Power

I think I may have posted this story before, but here it is: In a sense, I literally grew up with Tower of Power. Mic's sister Karen was my babysitter from the mid 60s to the early 70s. She either came to our house or my brothers and I went to theirs. Mic would sometimes lift me over his head. I have one fuzzy memory of seeing Mic and some of his buddies jamming in their living room. The last time I saw Mic was 1975 at Karen's house at her annual Xmas Eve party.
that blows.. Mic played on so many great sessions.. I think people would be surprised..

I saw him a few years ago at the State Theatre with TOP

I will unfortunately add Dale "Buffin" Griffin from Mott the Hoople…

I think he was not in great shape for a while as he hardly participated in the Mott shows a few years ago…just was not up for it.. by the way still can't believe Mott never played even one show in the US after those London shows… guess the money wasn't there..
Dang  :'(
He wasn't even on the list.
The List of Stupid Jerks Who Suck? Well that's probably a good thing, at least for his family.
