Yet another HOFer - Joe Morgan. Saw him inducted along with Jim Palmer.
Dropping Like Flies
That sucks
He was such a great announcer..him teaming up with Miller was inspired
My favorites are probably Morgan, Miller and Garagiola

This one hurts. I have his autographed card from his Hall of Fame induction hanging in my office. I met him many times through work and he was always great to me.

May he rest in peace, but strongly disagree regarding his announcing skills.

I am sure more knowledgeable people can tear him down but I love baseball and I really enjoyed games when he was announcing…
Could he have really been bad and worked as an announcer for 25 years?
Skeptical

I like Tim Mcarver and Rick Sutcliffe too

Joe Morgan was "meh" from an announcing standpoint. I never thought he was atrocious or anything.

Would have never recognized the name, but the song is a classic. I'm sure Space has heard it at least 30 times while shopping
I was confusing Mr. Mister and The Outfield when I saw that news… both one hit 80s wonders
No way Mr Mister had at least two hits:Kyrie and Broken wings
The Outfield had I think three…
You’re slipping Kosmo!

would you prefer no hits outside of the 80s?
You could call them one album wonders?
I mean the Outfield album Play Deep has three bonafide hits

"Your Love" was one of those 80s hits that I really, really despised at the time. I'd probably enjoy it now for nostalgia's sake though.
That line "Josie's on a vacation far away" is one of the most recognizable openers in all the 80s

Actually didn't realize they were a British band (where they barely charted)
