Sorry for your loss.  I found this photo of him and they said he was 44 that looks like he is 64.  I guess rock n roll lifestyle takes its toll.

That ain't Gene Ween buddy…that's Aaron Freeman…

WTF?

Gene Ween passed away a few years ago man from a heroin overdose. As you know Ween was a pretty big band back in the day even playing DAR and selling out the 930 regularly…Gene Ween was a pretty fat fuck towards the end…

The picture you've posted is a recent picture of Aaron Freeman who heads up a group called "Freeman" that is playing the Rock and Roll Hotel… They're just starting out, first album yet to be released, so tickets are fairly inexpensive ($17) and it hasn't sold out…

Casey Kasem top 40 countdown DJ.  Grew up listening to his weekly shows.  They still play them on Saturdays on XM radio 70's on 7 which I usually catch.

As a forty-something American, this is a meaningful death. I am an aging hipster, but back in the day, radio meant something and Kasem was its star.

i loved him, and grew up on those crazy dedications.  his voice is what, radio and music, was meant to be.  fuck, john tesh.
