Dropping Like Flies

that is very sad..
Jan Crouch. I would pay anything to have just a fleeting glimpse of the moment when she reaches the Pearly Gates and God questions her on all the money she stole from poor people so she could live a life of gold luxury for Jesus.

there are no pearly gates
How, do you know. I, believe.
Christ if Ali dies this will go down as the roughest six months in pop culture history.
seems like garrison keilor is hitting a rough patch too.
Ali .. man he's been real ill for a long time…… it will be a huge deal when he dies… I so wish he had retired from boxing 5-10 years earlier…

the thing about Prince is he was young… Bowie seemed in great shape.. had put out an album.. the element of surprise was a real big deal…. people were expecting a tour announcement and instead he died..

Ali has to be up there…it wouldn't be a shock if he died even if he wasn't ill….but he is 74… probably the average life expectancy… maybe higher than the average life expectancy for people born in his day..

It must be said that whoever comes across Ali always talks about an extremely moving experience and a connection…..so I'm not trying to say he is a vegetable or something…I will always remember his effort lighting the Olympic Torch or whatever it was… it seemed superhuman….super will…

Anyways he ain't gone yet so lets hope for the best..
^ well-stated.
Muhammad Ali

wow he died 9:10 pm MOUNTAIN TIME so 11:10 Eastern..since the clock on this board is fucked up by one hour I guess that means he died 46 minutes after my post…
The board's clock works fine for me.  ^ It is 4:32pm EST and that is what I see on here for the posted time.
drats.. then he was already dead..

I guess we were all thinking of him just as he passed…
It is a bad week for fighters, Kimbo Slice also died.
