Dropping Like Flies

There are no signs that Prince's death involved foul play or suicide, Carver County, Minn., authorities said in a press conference. An autopsy was completed Friday afternoon and results of a full toxicology scan likely wouldn?t be available for weeks, the medical examiner?s office said.
Cremated.

Unfortunate. Yet… Not, surprising.
yeah… assuming true, that's just a bit… of a drug problem.

I don't find this very credible.. the Daily Mail is a British rag.. they've interviewed an anonymous guy claiming to be his drug dealer up until 2008 which was eight years ago… anyone could make up the things he said… they seem like they could be true..it could have happened but that is about it… not interested in speculating about the reasons for his death.. although I am curious to find out the cause of his premature death in good time..
There has always been a marked contrast between his extroverted performances on stage and his by all accounts incredibly introverted nature off of the stage but I don't know how unusual that is in performers…

Legendary Jamaican musician Lord Tanamo has passed away. Tanamo, born Joseph Abraham Gordon, was a member of the Skatalites, was a drummer/percussionist on many of their classic tracks, and sang on a number of their tracks. He was 82 and passed away at his house in Canada. Lord Tanamo had been unable to speak since 2008 when he suffered a stroke.

For he was so nice, he died twice! I guess Bob's post did get lost in a sea of Prince posts as was foretold.
Kylesa is going on indefinite hiatus. I took this from their FB page:
"To our fans and friends… After 15 years of nonstop touring and writing, we decided that it is time for a break. A lot of you have been asking when we are coming to your part of the world and that means a lot to us. However, we feel it should be known that as of now we have no plans to play any shows or work on any new material. We have collectively decided to take a hiatus with no set date to reconvene. We want to give a huge thanks to all our fans, friends, and family for the support over the years. It has been a killer journey and a real pleasure meeting so many amazing people along the way."
They might come back but until then..thanks for the music Kylesa!

Fuck! I just bought a frisbee from them yesterday at Poto Yard. Me and my boys were playing catch in the store, real long bombs too, crashing into everything, I just didn't give a shit. That place is such an easy hour spent playing with the kids. We've played entire games of football in that back corner. Then I crash'em out at Barnes & Noble. SNORE! Boom, quality time
It was awkward when one of Huckle's long bombs sailed into women's active wear and hit a mannequin, scaring the diarrhea out of a lady standing next to it. Whoops! Sorry! [sees no ring on finger] Kids, right? Toughest job you'll ever love. Wonderful, really. So what are you shopping for? You know the petite section is over there, here let me show you.
