my friend shared this story with me:

I met this guy in Chicago…
>
> He was washing some mud off boxes of 78’s in his little back office - his roof had leaked all over the records in his store. But he trolled me a bit saying it was no longer a problem because of Viagra…
>
> Viagra had paid him several hundred thousand to license his Hoodoo Man for a recent commercial and Koester funded his new roof…
>
> He told me the story of how he took all the heavy rockers, Mick, Keith and other big names around to the original South Side clubs to hear all the authentic blues guys in the early 60’s.  Other stars sought him out later, including Iggy Pop, who stayed at Koester’s house with his band mates. After a couple days of drunken acting out, Koester got fed up and kicked them out, yelling “Get outta here, ya stooges!”  Name stuck…
Thanks for posting!

So many great and awkward Carson and Letterman appearances.
Paul Mooney. He was hysterical on Chappelle show and writing Pryor's episode of SNL was genius.
I always enjoyed knowing that Paul could steal the show, from Chappelle, on his own show.

I never knew, the awful rumor about him regarding Richard Pryor.  What!?
Roger Hawkins (Muscle Shoals drummer) deserves a mention
Chi Modu
John Warner (former VA Senator)

Clint Eastwood's 92 year old stunt double Buddy Van Horn.

Word on the street is that Clint will be doing his own stunts from here on out.
