Awful news…between him and Terry Hall, WTF. I remember buying Martin a shot of Jameson at the backbar after a Primal Scream gig in like 2009 I think. Really nice guy. So sad about him and Terry.
Martin died as a result of a fall at his home :'( and from people who knew him, he was quite the character… he once told some that "mushrooms were the cheese of the forest"
obviously Martin Duffy was a key participant in "Echo Dek" one of my favorite all time albums
need to dive into some of the later Felt albums as they were really never on my radar but a huge influence on bands i've enjoyed over the years

Same cause of death as the recently departed DH Peligro. I'm going to move to a home without stairs. (Though obviously there are other ways to fall.)
