really?  why should AIDS be treated any different from cancer, heart disease, or so many other potentially deadly illnesses? 

i'm as liberal and PC as the next peacenik, but how is aids still considered an off-limit snowflake?

I wouldn't make a joke about Relaxer, or any other member of this community, having cancer, heart disease, or any other deadly illness either.

Maybe my point was that in 2017, we've reached a point where for many in wealthy first-world nations, HIV has become a manageable illness. But that still doesn't make it cool to joke about I nsuch a flippant manner.
