Anyone going to see the XX at 6th and I this weekend? The inclusion of JJ makes it pretty compelling (didn't realize, however, that JJ is not playing the afternoon show, just the evening one). Sold out, but looks like there's plenty of tix on CL.

I think I'm finally back on target after being away, then I remember Nada Surf this Friday.
Rhett - Thanks for asking about Nada Surf ticket availability, I can't afford to buy online and hoping they might be available at door?

Also, Temper Trap is sold out. (a show I wished for and pursued even when Joe Grumpy tried to shoot down the idea!;))  Hm. What time do headliners start w/ 7 pm doors/3 bands? It's been awhile since I've been to a 3 band show.

And, then, also next week is Ted Leo. I really need tickets available at door for these shows…

Wilco at the National last night was phenomenal. 36 songs, three hours. 15 songs I hadn't heard either of the other two times I've seen them.

Hmmm.. they play Outta mind???  Every time I have seen them they never play that and the one time they played it was at V Fest, but of course I got to the stage when it was over.  Great, just great.

Sorry dude but you picked the wrong time to get sick of Wilco.  The show in Bethesda last night was 37 songs, and did include "nothing'severgonnastandinmyway(again)" and a killer mid-show acoustic set.  That was probably my favorite of the roughly 20 times I've seen Wilco.

Sad I didn't go, but I just couldn't see paying $200 for a pair or tickets to any show, even Wilco.
