This week rollcall

Jack Rose tribute show last night (especially the Pelt set) will be remembered for decades to come by those who were there.

Maybe Cibarbox Planetarium/Janel and Anthony tomorrow.
Tortoise/Disappears tuesday.
Theo Angell/Moon Pie/Kohoutek friday
Mission of Burma/Office of Future Plans saturday
Did the Josh Rouse show go on as planned or was it rescheduled? If it did happen, anyone go?
I'm in for Burma and Editors this weekend.  Any thoughts on the opening bands?
I know Office of Future Plans features J Robbins but that's about it.
Mission of Burma on saturday.  Very excited for this one.  Anybody think it will sell out at the door?

Doubt it. The last show wasn't close if I remember correctly.
Mission Of Burma, the Friday/UofR show
Editors - Friday - Terminal 5

so bummed I cant make their show in DC.
Mission of Burma Saturday
I'm going snowboardng this weekend in So Cal.  It's supposed to be in the 50's and sunny after a light dusting the night before I get there…
Thunderball & Los Amigos Invisibles at Black Cat on Friday

Nouvelle Vague at the 930 on Saturday

Editors at the 930 on Saturday

And I would be going to Trombone Shorty at the State Theatre next Wednesday but I'll be traveling for work.

Tortoise = EPIC show and one of the best sounding shows at the Black Cat mainstage.
Agreed.
Huh…no one going to  see TSOOL at the Cat tonite? I saw them at SXSW a few years ago. They took the stage after the Black Keys and proceeded to blow them off the stage.
I may be at TSOOL. They have been great both times I have seen them.
my experience with them is that they are a terrible live band. Like their first album but downhill after that.

I dont see too many suggestions for shows for this Friday.  I need to get out of the house.

Does anybody have any recommendations for shows in dc or Baltimore for this Friday?
