This week rollcall

Courtneys were pretty fantastic.

Very quick 25 minutes.

For Hex: they played "New Sundae," "Manion" and "90210" and four new songs. No "Lost Boys" which was a little surprising but makes sense since it would have taken up 1/4 of their allotted time.

It's a great time.  I haven't been since the last time Cock Sparrer played and am really looking forward to it.

Sadly, I won't be around for Monday's set and will miss Cerebral Ballzy, which I agree, is an amazing band name.

I'll see what I can do.  Maybe on the plane home…
Does anybody remember how much gbv tickets cost?
Says 30$ on my ticket. Don't remember the fees though.
Ok damn its just after 8 and I'm drinking heavily and gbv doesnt take the stage for 3 damn hours and last night they played 48 songs – 48! – and I dont know how I'm gonna do this
Tell me about it, I'm normally fast asleep most nights before they are due to hit the stage.  Might be doing an early leaving walk of shame for this one

Lineup for the first two days is so good if you're into that sort of thing.  Anti-Nowhere League was my undisputed favorite band in the mid 80's.  Would have loved to attend this.

well I hope you didn't…… ;D

but yeah I dont' know how Pollard does it.. he's a rock and roll super hero…

i made it through the set, but had pretty much hit my limit when they ended.  Pollard is a genius setlist writer seemingly knowing exactly when to get the crowd rowdy again. of course he was choosing from Bee Thousand.  and I guess the Jay Carney intro was as random as it seemed
Ted Leo/Allison Crutchfield at Silent Barn in NYC last night. Fun time. My first full-length solo Ted Leo set.
Flatmates/Foul Swoops/Expert Alterations Tuesday
The Torches/Puff Pieces/Flamers Thursday
Foul Swoops/Nic Fits/Luke Reddic/Anchor 3 Friday
Maybe that mini-Popfest in Baltimore Saturday
Maybe Richard Pinhas Sunday
Maybe Wildhoney, Big Mouth, Smoke Bellow, Gold-Bears, and Literature at the Crown on Saturday
Red Fang on Saturday!

Afterwards I'll be zooming over to Uhall to spin the closing set [2am] after DJ Craze! Should be a fun night!

On Saturday? Gold Bears is (supposedly) doing an in-store on Sat @5pm in Richmond I'm going to. Seems weird to risk getting stuck in traffic and miss a paying gig to do a free in-store in RVA.
