I'll be at the Mickey Hart show tonight, too.  Haven't heard the new record, but Mickey + Sikiru is worth the price of admission, no matter what they do.

How was the Mickey Hart show?  Hear he's got some new Robert Hunter tunes in the repertoire……….

last night was special.  the way a show at the club should be. 

Depending on how i feel after work (and after, Im sure, doing work from home) I should be at Shabazz Palaces tonight at Sonar (ok with !!!, but i dont really care either way for them).

I told my wife she either had to have sex with me tonight or let me go to the Mayer Hawthorne show.

She handed me 40 bucks and said "Get yourself a ticket and a nice t-shirt."

Agreed - great show last night.  The venue was maybe 1/3 full, but the band played on.  Maybe 1/2 Grateful Dead songs and half new / jammy material.

Saturday show dilemma:

Sunday:
Ed Schrader's Music Beat, Roomrunner, and Deleted Scenes - WMUC Radio

Shabazz palaces were unbelievably great…..they must have played all of the Black Up album.

I ended up working till almost 10pm and just stayed home.  I hope they get a headlining show sooner than later, I absolutely love Black Up.
