Sunday - Birth (defects), Bested at DC9 (this will be my first time at that venue in many years)
the Original Wailers tomorrow night at the Howard.. which is essentially Aston Familyman Barrett and Al Anderson…. I've seen both but not together.. I really just want to feel Familyman's bass lines… I been listening to a lot of jamaican music an he's played on so many great recordings (over and beyond the incredible Marley/Wailers stuff)….
I guess its been nearly five years since I saw Familyman…..how time flies..

just avoid the junior marvin gigs.
i've played with the guy and he is to be avoided.

When I saw Familyman i got a pic with him and he signed my Catch a Fire original zippo lighter.. unfortunately he signed it so HUUUUGE its unreal! but its cool…
