sadly this momentous meet up will not be happening as I have to leave town unexpectedly

They've been sold out for a while, it's at U Street Music Hall tonight. The new album is fantastic, and I like the setlist from this tour – pretty psyched!

Also saw the Shins @ Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday – was kind of meh.

The dream of early-to-mid aughts indie pop is alive in all of our local rock clubs.
