Bob, you're upping the ante after not attending shows for 20 years.

Please stay on topic. This thread is for discussing what shows you are attending this week. The Smackie thread is over there.
Definitely UXO Thursday. Maybe Werckmeister Harmonies Wednesday
Josh Ritter - tonight
Tedeschi Trucks - Saturday

**throws money in the air**
This will be a busy week for me, after a couple months of averaging a show a week.

Saturday - Lucy Dacus at Bathtub Republic (maybe)
Tuesday - Titus Andronicus and Craig Finn at the Ottobar
Wednesday - Romantic States at Mobtown Studios for Microshow taping
Friday - Kurt Vile & the Violators and Spacin' at the Ottobar
"microshow"? is that like when I sing in the shower?
Saturday - Lucy Dacus at Bathtub Republic (definitely)

I have posted about these since 2011:
http://www.mobtownstudios.com/microshows/
Mobtown Studios in Baltimore hosts a Baltimore band once a month to record a live set on their studio gear, which in turn is released for the world to enjoy later.  The sets are taped in front of a small crowd, and anyone can get a free ticket to it, but space is limited.  They are a lot of fun.

Live?  On record?  I have never seen him perform. I enjoy his albums.  I look forward to seeing him at a venue of this size, because he is definitely close to not playing shows at venues of that size anymore…
Los Lobos on Sunday in Naptown…..

well to be fair I saw him solo acoustic (opening for Thurston Moore).. and yes..it was vile.
I'll be at Come to Grief on Saturday if all goes according to plan.

Kurt Vile sucked when I saw him. His fans were pretty annoying too. They wouldn't shut up and drowned out the opening band I was there to see.
Had I known he was so awful I would have chosen to go see Young and in the Way at Metro Gallery instead. Unfortunately, I'm not into the rest of that bill at all.

He's not that bad…no Frank Turner, but assuming you like his albums you'll most likely enjoy the show.
Titus and Craig @Ottobar
Truckers @930
