This week rollcall

The Bats on Wednesday (i can't even remember the last time I went to dc9)
Celebration on Friday at metro gallery
maybe Best Coast on Tues.

probably Windhand on Weds (but I'm torn between that and the Bats)

Comedy on the Table on Fri

A Sound of Thunder & King Giant on Sat (would like to do both that and Screaming Females, but can't do both)
mmmm that Windhand show is free….I might have to trek up to Baltimore.
[move][shadow=red, left]WIDESPREAD PANIC  WOLF TRAP  WEDNESDAY  PARTY TIME  EXCELLENT[/shadow][/move]
Tonight: The Pietasters, free show with my daughter….we're bringing our own pie. Should I bust out the DC Brau t-shirt?

Saturday: Gary Louris (Jayhawks) at Jammin Java. Tossing away my B52's tickets so i can see this one instead.
Happy Bats day!

I'm pretty sure I'll be taking my kids to this as well.  Tell me how to find you and I'll say hey!
Frank Turner is playing in my office tomorrow and the National are doing a stripped-down set on Friday. Should be neat. Saw Guards yesterday and they were kinda boring.
The National tomorrow.

The Bats would have been the perfect candidate for one of those shows.
Too bad I was too sick to go to the Bats, it sounds like to was really good.

Saw Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks debut show at Metro Gallery on Thursday. I liked the music, it was really psychedelic and a great supergroup (Animal Collective, Dirty Projectors, Ponytail).  Celebration and Janka/the Bubu Gang was a lot of fun, lots of dancing.

Did anyone else know Thrushes played Club K tonight? I would of definitely went. I don't think they have played in years.

I only have one for this week
Monday - Animal Collective
Hah Janka.

I met that dude once.

He is a friend of a bunch of friends.
