Some Pixies tickets were released over the weekend and I was able to snag some for Tuesday. It says General Admission, is Lincoln just first come first serve for the seating?

Yes.

That's cool! I did not know that. Although I've been there and I guess I have never seen any seats or rows numbered.

Depends - if there is one ticket price, it will be general admission.  If there are two prices (the floor and the balcony) it is reserved seating.

Wanted to hit that up, but my new refusal to go to sold out shows didn't allow for that to happen.

surprisingly not a super packed sold out show
they were really good…was odd leaving the club at 8:30

My daughter said the Whitney show exceeded her expectations  (She's a big fan).  I asked her, how so?  Her response-  "they stopped drinking so they had it much more together"

Maybe someone could do a research project on sold out skinny hipsters/chicks/lgbqt attendees vs. pear shaped middle aged men sold out shows and see how much actual room is left in the club?

Yeah the lead singer made some comment that the band hadn't had a drink in 3 days
but at the end of the show they were like "what's everyone doing?  can we meet you at a bar"
they said the show they played at dc9 1.5 years ago…only 5 people showed up, couldn't believe they sold out the 930

you nailed it…sight lines were great too with all the ladies in attendance
lots of fat dudes at the shows I go to
