I miss Jimmy Scott. He doesn't play around here so I'm going to NYC to see two of his shows…
Matmos moved to Baltimore so they'll play around here…

Gave some of the Dead Science album a listen last night (or was it two nights ago?). Still on the fence.
Oh wait…Dead Science is Friday isn't it?
I'll be down there already for fleet Foxes so I might as well do both.
You know DS won't start until way after FF are done.

I know. I don't have a ticket for Fleet Foxes but not sure I wanted to go anyway after seeing them last time (once is enough with this band I think). I'll go to John Prine, but it's expensive…maybe Dead Science afterwards if I'm not too tired.

azaghal, why didn't you go to Juan Maclean? Aren't you a fan? It was a great show (they did a super extended version of Happy House, maybe 20 minutes of it). Nancy from LCDSS did vocals. It was quite empty though (maybe less than 30 people in the mainstage) and probably the only chance you'll ever see ixkpd do his diva dance moves out in the open. :eek:
