My kids absolutely have no interest in what bands i go to see, so thankfully I don't to broach it.

Yeah, it was a blast.  I had never seen either actually (though i've seen Keith a few times, with Flag, OFF and that kick-ass West Memphis 3 benefit years back at the club where Rollins covered a bunch of Black Flag songs).  Missed the Adolescents, but the rest kicked ass.  I always thought Descendants were ok…i liked their albums well enough, but it never clicked with me as much as a lot of the other SST bands.  Great show though…glad I made the drive and sacrificed the sleep.

Yeah, I suppose. My kid already thinks most of my music is "garbage" so I imagine if I told her I was going to  a CJ show it might not have any effect.  Might be harder to explain it to my 60 year old co-worker who gave a group of us a long lecture on the dangers of "marijuana" during a work social call last week.

I was just thinking what a hideous song Cover Me is and how the heck did it get on the Born in the USA album? The b sides left off are much better.
