when it comes to times, does the FSS typically show doors or show start?  website says 8:00 PM.  i'm assuming opener, so HTDA on at 9:00 or 9:15?

I received this email from HTDA:

"As you must immediately enter the venue when you pick up your tickets, we will not start distributing tickets for this show until 6:45 PM (15 minutes before the 7:00 PM official door time). We will not open doors to the general public until after all those in line to pick up HTDA pre-sale tickets at 6:45 PM have been processed into the building.

Line up to pick up your HTDA.com member pre-sale tickets at the far left front entrance door to The Fillmore (when facing the front of the venue on Colesville Road/US 29). The line will extend to the left on the sidewalk, as directed by venue staff, towards Georgia Avenue."

Clarification from half of Paint Branch:
- They ARE performing
- acoustic duo

i'm strongly considering amel larrieux at the howard on friday. be a nice change of pace and i've still yet to see her after all these years. i'm feeling cheap though and don't want to cough up $40 for her show at a venue that forces me to spend $10 just to sit down and has bathrooms ill located.

If my past experience at the FSS is any indication, the show will end by 11.  8 PM is likely the first band's start time (note that it might start even earlier than that).  The Facebook event lists 7 PM, which (again, based on my past experience) I would guess is the door time.

Agreed.  How much material can HTDA possibly have to play?

On the fence for tonite.  $35 is outrageous for this.
