hoping to make bootsy collins sunday night at the state if he doesn't cancel and newborn situation allows…
I dont know where you live (or the exact newborn situation, congrats!), but he is also playing on June 11 at Rams Head Annapolis.

thanks! yeah, i live a mile or two from the State Theatre and can walk there via the bike path so I'll try and go to that show…I also really like the State's setup..just wished they got more shows..

I posted this in the the Ticket's  forum, but I'll also leave a note here:

I'm looking for one extra Mogwai ticket for next Monday's show, can anyone help a fellow boardie out?
Matthew Sweet Sat. at club. If anyone wants to go, I have an extra - free!

Oh, and Laura Marling Tues., too if anyone wants [to go].

Anyone want to head to Mynabirds next Sat. at BC?
Aren't Janel and Anthony opening that?

I'll probably go but leave after them in order to make Eternal Summers at Comet.
Sorry, error: Mynabirds is the following Sat. - June 23. SEAN BONES and EDIE SEDGWICK open.
Azag - are you referring to that show?
Oh, no I was referring to 6/16.
CD Cellar show tonight
Mogwai 930 tomorrow
Grass Widow/Priests/Mary Christ Comet Tuesday
DB's Iota's ;) Thursday
Opponents/Celebrator/Scant/OK Putrid at Amma House Friday
Eternal Summers Comet Saturday
dB's for sure. Cannot wait.
Friday - JEFF the Brotherhood/Heavy Cream at Red Palace - Possibly
I'm very bitter about the fact that I have to go to my wife's mother's birthday party this weekend and therefore miss that Jeff the Brotherhood show. Those guys are great and I'd kill to see them at the Red Palace.
We should "kick it" before one of the shows we are bound to both be at in the near future.
I'm likely going to Place to Bury Strangers, need to get tix
Have tix for El-P/Killer Mike/eXquire and will definitely see Grimes
Missed out on Japandroids tix though, bummed about that especially as the new Cadence Weapon record is great
I'll be at Mogwai tonight. If you see a guy in his younger 20s wearing a black Bauhaus t-shirt, come say hello!

you mean mother in law?
It's complicated.
Anyone else going to Neil Diamond on Thursday?  I'll be there.  Don't judge.  (or judge…it's okay)
Have fun! I saw him the last time he came to the Verizon Center and had a great time.  I think that time he played 25 older songs, and 2 or 3 off his newest two records.  This one being a greatest hits tour should be 30 or so old ones… I really wish i could go.  Neil has some timeless, great songs.
Little Richard @ The Howard on Saturday.
Laura Marling…soon
tab benoit at hamilton on thursday
balkan beat box at 930 on friday
lisa hannigan/joe henry at 6th and I on sunday
slick rick/soul rebels at howard next thursday

and then a whole mess of music documentaries at the afi next week during silverdocs.
