This week rollcall

Ahh.
He said he heard something then turned to see it had shattered.
Regardless, still unbelievable.
J Geils Band (without J Geils) on Thurs.

Maybe they should just call themselves "….Band"

In spite of J Geils' abscence I'm really looking forward to the party.

I hope the show is not cancelled or something…
Is Peter Wolf with them?

There was nothing else in there but earbuds and I am almost certain they were behind the phone. I was fairly close up.

Also, a friend that was toward the back by the bar told me that a bottle exploded.
That is just absurd.

EMP attacks!!!  ;D
Soft Cat at Mobtown for their Microshow recording on Thursday.
Doom fans should definitely check out Pallbearer on Wednesday– their new one is fantastic, as was their show in Philly on Saturday night (I drove up to catch that so as to resolve the Pallbearer/Primordial conflict on Wednesday night).

I'll be at Chris Corsano tomorrow night and Primordial on Wednesday.
That is gonna be one very packed Amma house basement tomorrow.
I will also be there.
Comet thing Thursday. I am finding myself spending more and more time there.
Feelies on Friday
I do believe I will go to that Pallbearer show. Royal Thunder should be interesting too. So Asthma Castle is back eh? I thought they drank themselves into oblivion.
Catching the Primordial/While Heaven Wept/Cormorant triple bill.
Most likely The J. Geils Band tomorrow.  That'll be a last minute decision.

yup, I'll be there too.  While Heaven Wept is headlining the show tonight.
Fun times last night. Corsano is a machine. The borborites set was one of the more mellow I have caught but still solid. Seeing Jeff play with Kohoutek was a rare pleasure.

Well, there was a change and Primordial was the headliner last night– rightfully so. Their set totally slayed, and I didn't need to hear any more of WHW than I did.
springsteen at nationals park tomorrow
thievery corporation at fairgrounds on saturday
expect patriotism on full display at bruce.

born in the fucking usa.

especially now.
Pondering the boss
Pondering Bon Iver
Psyched for The Feelies.
Last time was still one of the more fun concerts in recent memory.

Fergus & Geronimo album is good but my house is sounding better.

Hey now, no shitting on While Heaven Wept! haha
If nothing else then just for the fact that they were responsible for the tour even happening, otherwise you would've had to go to Atlanta to see Primordial as they were originally slated to only play the Prog Power Festival.
Regarding the lineup change, Primordial was the headliner for the entire tour, at one point the plan was for WHW to headline since this was their first and only hometown show in 23 years but later on decided to go with the same lineup sequence as the rest of the tour.  While Heaven Wept were amazing but Primordial definitely took it to the next level, the 50-100 or so people who stuck around caught one of the best metal acts out there today.
right, i know, this was their "homecoming" gig (first local show in 20+ years or whatever)– even the band had announced that they were headlining this one, but that was about a month ago, so things obviously changed.  Believe there was one show on this tour (Chicago?) where WHW did get the headlining slot.  Just glad it wasn't ours.
