That’s what I think…take it or leave it…next year is 2020…all guy bands are like fraternities and make no more sense than them

I refuse to listen to any band that doesn’t have at least one genderfluid individual and doesn’t have at least three non-white members (all different races, please). I won’t even listen to a duo — why so exclusatory? In this day and age!

He’s totally ruined Charmless Man by Blur for me. He’s all I think of every time it comes on.

No need for sausage parties with instruments in the modern age…then again rock has a long long history of misogyny so it’s hard to let go

I am glad there are more women in music both at concerts and in bands..

Everyone agrees it’s great there are more women in music than before. Pretending everyone who does not dismiss out of hand any band that doesn’t have a woman in it wants rock to be a sausage party and women excluded is a false choice.

I suppose you’re a giant hypocrite for attended Sleater-Kinney who is a single-sex band, right?

Saw both bands (on 2 consecutive evenings) in San Francisco a couple weeks ago, and they were both awesome. My recommendation though is not to miss the Messthetics. The record is really cool, but in concert they are very special. It's like part punk, part jazz, part psychedelic. One of the better things I've seen this year, and fun to watch.

Oh yeah, this will probably be like my fifth of sixth time seeing them.  Even drug my kids to the Ft. Reno show last summer.

Dude…don't drug your kids.  Don't worry they will start using drugs as soon as they become teenagers

I didn't drink until I was 21 then spent the next five years getting way too drunk when I went out, so my thought is if my kids start doing drugs at 9/7 they'll be able to handle them more normally when in high school
