I won tickets to the Chili cook off so guess I'll be there.

Despite the soul sucking nature of the Birchmere and it being incredible hot during the performance.  The John Hodgman and Paul and Storm show was great.  Hodgman's ability to blend fact and fiction is great fun.

Possibly the improv round robin thing at 411 New York AVE NE this afternoon. Allergies kicking my ass.
Possibly Chester Hawkins at Galaxy Hut tomorrow
Possibly that show at Black Whiskey Tuesday
Marnie Stern Thursday
Possibly Passing Phases at Judy's Friday.
Fielded/Gel Set Saturday (Killsaly, I bet you would be all over this one)
Maybe James Blake Sunday.

BRMC/Bass Drum of Death.    I really like the BDoD record.  Looking forward to this one.

I'm showing some of my paintings in Columbia on Wednesday.  That's pretty much all I have planned for the week.

Kelley Deal really shined and I had not realized Carrie Bradley would be joining them so that was a nice surprise.

Couldn't agree more. That was probably my favorite Breeders show I've seen. I know a lot of people might not agree with this, but to me it's not the Breeders without Josephine. She is one of the most underrated musicians and her solo LP is one of my desert islands discs. She's got some crazy good bass lines on Last Splash.

So good to hear!  I was in Pittsburgh, and was sad to have missed it.  Loved their last show at the Black Cat.  Did they bring back the Buffy theme song?

If you don't have a fever you don't have the flu.  If you do go to the doctor because you might have pneumonia.  I had a awful cough for a month.  Weezing and everything.  Worst cold/bronchitis i have experieced. 

I had a fever but it was brief.
