Biased but great show as always. I'll really be crushed when seeing GBV isn't a regular thing. Now that he's having openers and playing less than 3 hours, that's probably not too far off.

I do enjoy Brithday Girl but I've seen them like 5 times in a year.

Didn't see anyone but Bags. I only see her at GBV shows. Think i saw Craig at the merch stand maybe…never met him tho.

So it's Friday night, I'm heading into DC to see my favorite band at maybe the smallest venue I've ever seen them at. Even got a really great hug from my daughter before i left…shes my little mini-me so she loves to give me a hard time in most cases. Was a nice surprise!

I'm feeling pretty fucking good! Got a decent spot by McDonald's so it was a short walk to the club. Standing in line a few minutes when the guy behind me says "uh someone stuck something to your back." He pulls it off and it's a post-it note that says "yr mom" in huge letters.

She got me pretty good.

There's no hype with them. They always show up as openers cause of nepotism. Theyre amateur but they're also underage.

I was there on floor by Doug Gilliards side. I was the guy wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Saw all of Birthday Girls songs. They were catchy enough with very basic instrument play but gotta admire their courage to play in a front of a crowd. GBV was GBV - most of it brilliant mixed in with some hot mess.
