If anyone had an extra to Jesus Lizard next Saturday, I’d love to buy it. Unfortunately can’t go Sunday which isn’t sold out. (This seemed the best thread to throw a lifeline out on.)
i will give you a free ticket if you agree to do the dead/ eagles / phish weekend ay the sphere
I do not understand how I became this community’s personal sin eater. I mean, I’m sure I had it coming but, Christ.

Ok, how about this tour then

https://rockthecountry.com/

if only the 9:30forum budget could afford it, but be great to have you go on the 10 city tour

It's like Good Liars, but for music
this could be the birth of a new genre

I'm partial to some good country music, but damn I'd rather see the Jesus Lizard at the Black Vat than see that horrible lineup.
On the air at  Takoma park’s wowd low power radio 8-9 pm slot

Not sure if I’ll be speaking, but got a perm and my outfit slaps

And????? Did you melt?
I found it boring as hell. 2nd row center, but most of the songs were ambient / soundtracky. I've seen doom/psych before and had been in the vibe, but last night was…lacking. The crowd was mostly burnt out metal heads who were expecting a different show.

The show was preceded by 45+ minutes of Italian horror noir trailers, mixed with vintage "Lets all go to the lobby and grab ourselves a treat" videos. It was fun for like 10 minutes.

I was able to get the setlist, which turned out to be a list of which guitar changes for each song (i.e., 1 - Gibson, 2 - Fender etc) The band didn't have formal setlists, because they were just playing an album straight through with no variation. A helpful Fillmore staff member stopped me as I was heading out of the venue, questioning why I had a piece of paper in my hand. When I expained that it was a "setlist", he thought that was weird since he thought the band was only playing snippets of songs. Turns out, the guitar list I snagged was written on back of a production schedule for a previous show. Helpful security dude told me to hide that because I wasn't supposed to have it, so I guess he was cool with it?

I was home by 10:45. So rock-n-roll.
Wow that sounds…..different

I got a “set list” like that once…all production info….

They need to lighten up a bit at Fillmore.  They got that prison/jailer mentality
a bit

It’s hard to for the $22 beers but they are doubles…. Last time I went the price combined with the selections led me to forego beer and instead I bought some shirts…

TAN: i got a "production setlist" from a lighting guy on U2's 360 tour… all lighting cues like "spotlight guitar solo at 1:48" etc
