As my grandmother used to say about recipes, Portlandia was "not the best".  I guess I thought it would be more like when I went to see Mr. Show or Kids in the Hall.  It was nice to hear the songs, but overall, it was a disappointment.  Still, it was good to see Carrie and Fred on stage, even if it wasn't the best thing ever.

i was very disappointed with the portlandia show. the snippets i'd seen from prior performances i was expecting a bit more. but oh well, you win some, you lose some.
