Well so much for my St. Stephens plans. I thought Cat doors were at 9 before. #SadPanda

Was this for the thing that was happening before the Anniversary show?

Too bad Pharmakon was taken off of the Destruction Unit show, I would love to see her again.  Her set was definitely in my top five for all of Hopscotch.
^Yay a noise convert!
I am at least a partial noise convert.
Both Black Cat Anniversary shows.
I may go to Nats/Phillies on Friday for an hour or so before heading to the Black Cat.
Nats/Phillies Sunday

Both Black Cat shows for me as well.
anyone else going to the Shindig festival in Baltimore tomorrow?  Since its 2 blocks from my house, i feel an obligation to go :)    Plus I haven't seen Clutch in a while.
I wish I was going to see Tuscadero Saturday…please dance to them for me.
Went to the Tommy Keene show last night and I swear the man has not aged one bit.  His band was on fire and he played songs from his entire career including a couple from his new covers album.  Him doing Echo and the Bunnymen's "The Puppet" was an interesting juxtaposition.  Gonna be listening to his new cover album today where also does  Television, Big Star, Roxy Music, Bee Gees, etc.

I really enjoyed where Justin Jones's new group Deadmen is going, Southern Rock with an epic wall of sound feel.
DOA @ The Black Cat.  I just realized this is on the Backstage.  How is this not sold out?
Nats Sun/Tue/Fri
Tuesday - Screaming Females with Waxahatchee at BC (maybe, but looking unlikely)
Friday - Terry Malts at Metro Gallery (maybe)
Saturday - Freefest for a while, then I am off to the Ottobar for Future Islands/Dan Deacon/VideoHippos
Screaming Females/Waxahatchee/Tenement (definitely!) Tuesday
Maybe Marian McLaughlin's thing at Mad Momos Wednesday
Comet thing Friday
Deerhunter>Plums Saturday
Did anyone else go to Hampdenfest?  I had a great time.  I was able to catch Raindeer, Celebration, and Roomrunner.  For free.  Plus toilet racing.
And the September/October concert onslaught begins…
(and it would have begun last week but I've been on a much needed holiday for the last several days. Anyone go to Per Ubu or Rosebuds last week?)

Wed-Alt J at 930 (have an extra if anyone needs one)
Thur-Pet Shop Boys at Strathmore
Fri-Travis at Lincoln

And I had tickets for Stereophonics for Sunday but gave them to my coworker as I'll be out of town.
FLAG at Balt Sound Stage
Really looking forward to this, but worried it might be a let down

I'm not worried. I don't think Keith Morris would allow that.
